Simona Halep, second WTA title in a week

Simona Halep defeated in the finalist of the tournament in -Hertogenbosch (Netherlands), with a score of 6-4, 6-2, on the Belgian Kirsten Flipkens sports.

Simona Halep, the tennis player, WTA No. 45, won the tournament in -Hertogenbosch (Netherlands), with awards totaling 235,000 USD.

Simona Halep defeated in the final by a score of 6-4, 6-2, after one hour and 11 minutes, the Belgian sports Kirsten Flipkens, 20th WTA and seeded 4.

This is the second career WTA title for Simona Halep. The Romanian obtained the first title a week ago at Nuremberg.

Simona Halep and Kirsten Flipkens met Saturday for the third time.

The Romanian player was imposed also in the previous two games with Kirsten Flipkens score of 6-4, 6-0, in 2010 in Tokyo qualifications and score 7-5, 6-4, in 2011, in the semifinals in Fes.

Mediafax writes that Simona Halep is the second Romanian player who plays in two finals within a week.

In May 1981, Virginia Ruzici played within Tournament finals week at Perugia and Lugano, but lost them both.
