The accelerated development of a vaccine against the new coronavirus, during the height of this pandemic, is considered the most important scientific achievement of the year by the prestigious magazine "Science". However, experts warn that humanity will face risks related to vaccine doubts, manufacturing problems and deficiencies in supply chains that could hamper ambitious vaccination plans.

For biomedical researchers, from the first line of the fight against COVID-19, the race for the development of a vaccine took place at a fast pace. Now, less than a year after the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, researchers have reached their goal - adds the American Association for the Development of Science.
