Russian ships began training missions in the Black Sea area

About 20 Russian warships began large-scale exercises with live ammunition in the Black Sea on Monday (September 20th), Interfax news agency reported, citing a Russian Navy statement.
Reuters recalls that Ukraine has scheduled joint military exercises with the United States. This week's joint military exercises in western Ukraine come days after Belarus and Russia staged large-scale military maneuvers that worried neighboring countries.
Kiev's relations with Moscow suddenly deteriorated in 2014, after Russia annexed the Crimean peninsula from Ukraine and supported pro-Russian separatists in the Ukrainian region of Donbas. The seven-year conflict with the separatists has killed more than 13.000 people.
