Royal Canadian Air Force in Romania

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The Royal Canadian Air Force begins its air policing mission in Romania on Thursday, according to a press release from the Ministry of National Defense.
The detachment of approximately 180 soldiers and six Hornet aircraft will operate under NATO command over the next four months.
Alongside them will be soldiers belonging to the Romanian Air Force and F-16 Fighting Falcon as well as Mig-21 Lancer aircraft.
Two other Hornet aircraft will participate in the same period in the exercises organized with the allies.
This is the sixth rotation at Mihail Kogalniceanu of the Royal Canadian Air Force.
