Romanians will once again be able to fly non-stop to the United States of America

Starting from June of next year, Romanians would be able to travel again by plane non-stop to the United States of America, departing from Bucharest, after a break of over 20 years.
Tickets have already gone on sale, after the company handling the flights received clearance from the United States Department of Transportation.
The flights connecting "Henri Coanda" Airport with the main airport in New York, "John F. Kennedy", will be carried out four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and return.
Passengers who want to get across the ocean will spend just over 10 hours in flight. The first scheduled flight will be operated on June 7, 2024.
