Romanian President and Government appeal to Moldovan political forces
Bucharest Government pleads for a politically negotiated solution, continuation of the reforms and consolidation of the pro-European path of the Republic of Moldova.

President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, has addressed, on Sunday, a message to all political forces in the Republic of Moldova to respect democracy and the rule of law.
According to a press release published by the Romanian Presidential Administration, stability of the Republic of Moldova is essential for the country to continue its European path.
In this context, President Iohannis reminds that Republic of Moldova is committed to carrying out a comprehensive reform process, including the rule of law and good governance.
Romanian Government reacted to the developments in Chisinau and called on all political forces to respect the democratic process and the will of the citizens, expressed by vote in the elections of February 2019.
