Romanian Post Office: In January, the distribution of pensions and social rights is delayed by a few days

The Romanian Post announced that in January the distribution of pensions and social rights will be delayed by a few days, as a result of the winter holidays.
Both the employees of this institution and those of the National Public Pension House benefit from days off, according to the legislation.
Thus, pensions will be able to be paid at home between January 6-17, and at the counters of postal subunits until January 19, 2023.
The general director of the Romanian Post stated in a press release that, just like last year, the employees of the institution will work at maximum capacity to complete the distribution of pensions in a combined interval of only 8 working days. Last year, the institution managed to distribute pensioners' money 3 days faster than the announced deadline, the press release also stated.
