Romanian opposition party has filed today a motion of censure against the executive. The document, entitled "Dismissing the Dragnea-Dăncilă Government, a National Emergency", is signed by 152 MPs from the Liberal Party (PNL), Save Romanian Union (USR) and Popular Movement Party (PMP). Initiators argue that the current cabinet, through the measures it has taken, crashed the economy and destroyed justice.

Negotiations to support the opposition are continuing and the outcome of these negotiations will be seen at the time of the vote, said leader of the Liberal MPs, Raluca Turcan.

In order for the motion of censure to be adopted by the Parliament, favorable votes of at least 233 senators and deputies are needed.
