Royal House of Great Britain decorated three people, on Friday, 5 April, including a Romanian, for their courage during London terrorist attack in June 2017 that led to eight people dead and 48 wounded.
Florin Morariu: For me, this means a lot and will remain so from now on.
RRA Reporter: You are the first Romanian who has been decorated by the Queen of Britain with Queen's Commendation for Brave Conduct distinction.
Florin Morariu: I was very, very emotional, but when I was handed this distinction, all my emotions went away and for a few minutes I felt like the happiest man in the world.
RRA Producer: At the time of the attack, when a group of terrorists stabbed people in central London, Florin Morariu was working in a bakery near London Bridge. He helped several people shelter from the attack and then went out on the street to fight the attackers.
