Romania: the civil protection system must be strengthened

Romania's civil protection system must be strengthened in order to deal with possible flows of migrants in the context of the risk of possible conflicts in the vicinity of Romania, Interior Minister Lucian Bode stressed.

Lucian Bode: It is imperative that future concerns include increasing the resilience of our civil protection system to the new challenges. That is why, these days, we focus on identifying the best solutions in managing new phenomena, such as the appearance of an uncontrolled influx of migrants and refugees, generated by the escalation of political situations in the vicinity of Romania.
