Romania reacts on Russian-Ukrainian incident
Deeply concerned about the developments in Azov Sea & Kerch Strait.

Aggression and violation of international law undermine the security of the whole region, Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a Twitter post following recent developments between Russia and Ukraine in the Kerch Strait linking Black Sea to Azov Sea.
Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Romania “fully supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and its rights to use its territorial waters”.
Reaction comes after Russia confirmed it has captured three Ukrainian ships in the Black Sea, opening fire and injuring six Ukrainian sailors.
Russia said it had to take this measure in order to force Ukrainian ships to stop, after entering illegally into Russian territorial waters.
