Romania ranks ninth in the list of ice cream producers in the European Union

Romania ranks ninth in the list of ice cream producers in the European Union in 2022, according to Eurostat.

Germany is in first place, followed by France, Italy and Spain.

Also, the cheapest ice cream in the EU was produced by Germany, and the most expensive by Austria.

The data also show that in 2022 the member countries exported ice cream outside the EU space worth more than 900 million euros, while imports from non-European countries stood at 200 million euros.
