Romania, potential customer for F-35 fighter jet

Romania is on United States list of potential customer for F-35 fighter jet.

According to Pentagon official, the United States is considering expanding sales for this type of aircraft to five new countries, as European allies are strengthening their defense systems in front of a growing threat from Russia.

Information about potential new customers comes at a time of tensions between the United States and Turkey over contract for the F-35.
