Romania participates in the European program "HERA"

Romania participates in the European program HERA, which will send a space mission next year to the asteroid hit two nights ago, to analyze the impact of the operation that tests the effectiveness of such a solution for planetary defense.
NASA sent a shuttle that hit a small asteroid in an attempt to deflect its trajectory, and HERA will collect extremely important information to evaluate the results of the operation: the size of the crater formed, the weight and structure, so that the experiment can possibly be used in a real danger situation for Earth.
Romania's contribution will consist of the necessary technique for HERA to reach the asteroid, observe and evaluate the effects of the impact, informs the Romanian Space Agency.
