President Klaus Iohannis said that Romania is willing to support the Republic of Moldova in any scenario. Today, he will meet in Bucharest with President Maia Sandu. From Radio Chisinau, Mihaela Dicusar reported.

Correspondence from the Republic of Moldova - Mihaela Dicusar: The two presidents will have an exchange of opinions on security challenges, as well as the ways of managing the economic, social and humanitarian effects of the Russian aggression in Ukraine, as the Presidential Administration in Bucharest transmitted. It is expected that the discussions between the two heads of state also concern the common projects of strategic interest, transport, health, education or information society, with an emphasis on the initiatives meant to connect the Republic of Moldova with the European Union space. Earlier, Sandu was on a visit to Warsaw, where US President Joe Biden held a speech, almost a year after Russia's aggression against Ukraine. After speech, Joe Biden had a meeting with Maia Sandu, and the White House said that the US president reaffirmed, during the meeting, the strong support of the United States for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova. For her part, Maia Sandu wrote on a social network that the Republic of Moldova values freedom and is committed to remaining part of the free world.
