"Romania has the necessary amount of gas to get through the winter"

Romania has the amount of gas needed to get through this winter well, regardless of what the weather will be like, Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca announced.

He specified that today the 90% filling quota of natural gas deposits was exceeded, now being almost half a billion cubic meters more than last year.

The Head of the Executive also mentioned that, of the fifty-five million cubic meters needed for an average daily consumption in the cold season, almost half are produced in the country, so only the difference will be covered by the reserves in the warehouses.
