Resurrection service at shore
In Constanţa, His Eminence Teodosie, the bishop of Tomis will officiate the Resurrection service on Modern beach in order to allow as many persons as possible to participate at the ceremony.

The tradition gathers the Christians again this year at the shore, where the Resurrection service will be officiated.
In Constanţa, His Eminence Teodosie, the bishop of Tomis will officiate the Resurrection service on Modern beach in order to allow as many persons as possible to participate at the ceremony.
The Christians will receive the Holy Light brought from the Jerusalem and His Eminence of Tomis will have the pastoral speech.
At 1 o’clock, the bishop of Tomis will officiate the Holy Liturgy at the Archdiocesan Cathedral “Saints Peter and Paul” and the liturgical answers will be given by the Male Choir “Armonia” of the archiepiscopate.
The action “Light from the shore”, organized every year at Mangalia on Easter, is announced since Friday within the county by an Easter bunny, who wanders the streets of the city, offers sweets to children and invites the citizens at the Resurrection service which will be officiated on President beach.
The Resurrection service will be officiated by a synod at the altar special raised on Mangalia beach.
This moment is preceded by the concert of choir “Armonia” of Tomis archiepiscopate.
All those who participate at the Resurrection service will receive, for free, candles to take the Holy Light at home and special boxes with Holy Easter cake.
