Record of infections, 4.902 new cases of people with SARS-CoV-2

4.902 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 were registered, since the last report, following the performance of 34.466 tests at national level, informs, on Thursday, the Strategic Communication Group.
These are cases that have not previously had a positive test.
As of Thursday, 196.004 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania.
A total of 141.089 people were declared cured.
To date, 2.961.562 tests for SARS-CoV-2 infection have been processed at national level.
Out of these, 34.466 were performed in 24 hours starting after the last covid balance update. 21.260 came from medical protocol and 13.206 were done upon request.
Romania has registered, yesterday, the most deaths of people diagnosed with COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic - 98, the total number of deaths reaching 6.163, informs, on Thursday, the Strategic Communication Group.
