Radio Romania Sports Reporter Mugur Corpaci died on Thursday, 27 December, in Bucharest, at the age of 51, one month after having suffered a cerebral stroke and being hospitalized for brain surgery.
Stroke occurred two days before the Women's Handball Carpathian Trophy, held in Bucharest on 23-24 November.
Unique, special and noticeable voice, Corpaci has been declared, in May 2018, by the Romanian Sports Press Association, the Best Radio Sports Reporter.
