Radio Romania - daily source of information for more than 3 million listeners

The audience of Radio Romania stations (Radio Romania News, Radio Romania Cultural, Radio Romania Music, Radio Romania Antena Satelor and Network of Regional Studios) totals 3.074.400 listeners daily, Romanian Radio Broadcasting Society stations occupying almost a quarter of the total listening time at national level, a fact which places the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Society in first place in the listeners' preferences.

Radio Romania News is the market leader, recording the highest value of the market share indicator in Romania, in all areas of residence - national - 12.2%, urban - 12.7%, rural - 11.2 %, Bucharest - 14.6%, according to the latest study published by the Radio Audience Association (ARA) - the summer wave of 2023.

The summer wave of the Radio Audience Study was conducted between May 2 and August 13, 2023 by IMAS - MARKETING AND SURVEYS and MERCURY RESEARCH.

As part of the research, the audience of radio stations was measured at national, urban, rural and Bucharest city levels, on a sample of 10.154 people. The measurement of the audience of radio stations within the Radio Audience Study was carried out based on the method of recalling the audience from the previous day (Day After Recall), which is used by most of the existing measurement systems internationally, a methodology recommended by the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) and ESOMAR (European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research).
