PSD proposes new salary and pension increases

The social democrats will propose to the coalition partners the increase from the beginning of next year of the gross minimum wage for the economy, as well as the increase of pensions.
Minister of Labor and Social Solidarity, Marius Budai: We will propose increasing the minimum pension from 1.000 lei to 1.100 lei. Again, also in the coalition, we will propose increasing the value of the pension point from the value of 1.586 lei to the value of 1.745 lei.
Producer: Marius Budai also specified that the budgetary impact will be 11 billion lei, RRA editor Catalin Purcaru reports.
The liberals have so far been reserved about these increases and have drawn attention that they must be in line with the economic possibilities and the budget at the moment.
