Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă is currently on a working visit in Washington, the United States, where she has scheduled meetings with US officials and business representatives.

RRA Reporter Petruţa Obrejan: "As Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă said, her visit to the United States has a strong economic component. During meetings with representatives of American companies, she will present the business opportunities in Romania and the measures Romanian Government has taken to support the investment environment.

Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă: "We will meet with a large number of business people, to whom we will present the advantages of investments in Romania, and predictability. I will be accompanied by Ministers Eugen Teodorovici (Public Finance) and Gabriel Leş (National Defense). We will also have discussions on defense and health matters, we will have some agreements to sign with the World Bank, also a memorandum on energy".

Strengthening the transatlantic relationship and signing bilateral agreements represent the main objective of the visit – Prime Minister explained, while criticizing those who said that his visit would only be an image one.

In New York, Romanian Prime Minister will attend a UN meeting on terrorism and will meet representatives of the Romanian community.
