Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu will discuss, today, at the Government, with several ministers and heads of control institutions, after the situation discovered at the three asylums in Ilfov.

The head of the executive asked the labor minister, Marius Budai, to dismiss the leadership of the National Agency for Social Inspection and that of the agency in Ilfov. The prime minister also requested the dismissal of the president of the Authority for the Protection of People with Disabilities.

Marcel Ciolacu: I want as a priority, for all the authorities that have control powers, a nationwide check of all these state or private centers, in terms of assistance for children, elderly people and people with disabilities. The Romanian Police, the Public Health Directorate, ANSVSA, ANPC will help. On Sunday I request a meeting with the Romanian Government with the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Labor, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Health and the Minister of Development, and all the presidents of authorities with control powers. I want, as urgently as possible, to restore Romanians' trust in the institutions of the Romanian state.

Three asylums from Voluntari and Afumati are being investigated by DIICOT for the inhumane treatments to which their beneficiaries, elderly and disabled people, were subjected.
