Producer: Catalin Gombos - President Klaus Iohannis began his visit to Japan with meetings with the presidents of the two chambers of the Japanese parliament. Japanese officials appreciated Romania's involvement in supporting Ukraine and the support given to refugees. At the same time, the desire to improve collaboration in the military field was expressed, given the existing tensions in the East Asian region. The main objective and event of this visit is, however, to raise the bilateral relationship to the level of strategic partnership. Oana Bala reports:

Reporter: President Klaus Iohannis started his visit to Japan with a meeting with the president of the upper house of the parliament, Hidehisa Otsuji.
