President Iohannis promulgates 2020 state budget law
Both normative acts were adopted on December 23, for the first time, when Orban Government assumed responsibility in the joint Chambers of Parliament.

President Klaus Iohannis signed on Monday the decrees promulgating 2020 state budget law and 2020 state social insurance budget law, Romanian Presidential Administration informs. They were published on Monday evening in the Official Gazette.
Both normative acts were adopted on December 23, for the first time, when Orban Government assumed responsibility in the joint Chambers of Parliament.
Chairpersons of the two Chambers of Parliament filed complaints with the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR) regarding the way Government assumed responsibility for the state budget's adoption.
Magistrates expect that by Friday, January 10, they will receive the views from the Government and the Parliament regarding existence of a legal conflict on the subject.
