People vaccinated against COVID outnumbered those infected

It is an important time for Romania.
Yesterday, at 13:00, vaccinated people against COVID exceeded the number of those infected and reported with the SARS-CoV-2 virus - announced the coordinator of the National Vaccination Campaign, Valeriu Gheorghita, in an internet post.
He adds that the pace of the campaign so far confirms the goal of immunizing the population in a short time and thanks both those who opted for vaccination and those involved in this large-scale action.
At noon, Saturday, more than 783.500 people were immunized, most of whom had already taken both doses in order to obtain the maximum degree of protection against coronavirus, while the total balance of infections from the first case confirmed in Romania almost a year ago is about 777.000.
