Vasile Blaga, PDL president says that Democrat Liberals " on Sunday will boycott the referendum on the dismissal of president suspended su Traian Băsescu and ask voters not to participate in what he called" masquerade staged by USL ".

"We ask citizens not to participate in such a masquerade staged by USL," said Blaga.

He noted, however, that PDL will have representatives in all polling stations in the country.

Prime Minister Victor Ponta answers to the Democratic Liberals’ announcement saying that PDL’s decision to boycott the referendum was ending "the legend of Băsescu-the Brave Man presented to the people "and proves that the President is" a coward and a liar ".

"I can only salute the fact that Băsescu- the Brave Man legend who goes in front of the people reached the final. Today, Băsescu is a coward, a liar and so to quote from the decision of the Constitutional Court which said that voting is an act of responsibility, an irresponsible who has destroyed Romania in these last eight years, "said Victor Ponta.

Vasile Blaga PDL president said that he wants the elections "should be organised properly in 2009" and asked the Interior Ministry to ensure that the elections will not be rigged.

Furthermore, Vasile Blaga requires the Ministry to provide filters in all counties ' exactly in the same manner as they were organized in 2009 ".

"At the presidential election of 2009 we had cameras in the polling stations, we had the solemn declarations of those who voted at the special polling stations," he said, stressing that now are not met these conditions.

"Now there are mixed supplementary lists with those who vote in other sections than those near their homes with permanent lists that we cannot realize the electoral tourism", he added.

At the same time, Vasile Blaga denounces the fact that have closing down electoral bureaus in rural localities and towns , submitting only those of counties, "so that it is extremely hard to make a decision in the case of a complaint in a polling station".

"That the PDL has only one representative on the electoral bureaus, compared with five representatives of USL" Vasile Blaga, he added.

He also announced that representatives of the PDL will remain in the polling stations.

"Members of the PDL and his supporters cannot validate a number of USL's abuses from this period, which started two months and a half ago with a set of constitutional abuses, outsting the Ombudsman, replacing the heads of the two chambers of Parliament," said Blaga.

Turnout would validate "a coup"

Turnout would validate what, in the opinion of representatives of the PDL, is "a coup".

They believe that the suspension of President Traian Băsescu was an undemocratic action and USL. violated the law.

Democratic Liberals have accused on several occasions of possible fraud in the voting process, claiming that they are determined to resort to boycotting the referendum.

The President suspended President Traian Băsescu said Monday evening at B1 Tv that he does not exclude the possibility to boycott the referendum on July 29.

Traian Băsescu reiterated allegations about what he called the Government's intention to defraud the referendum on July 29.

Two days ago, Premier Victor Ponta gave assurances that the referendum will be organized in impeccable condition.

"I don't think there will be any problems, the ballots shall be printed, distributed and guarded by policemen and gendarmes," said Victor Ponta.

Premier Victor Ponta declared on Sunday in Iasi, referring to the PDL request to install cameras in all the polling stations, that "If there is such a possibility, with great pleasure."

"Whatever can be done, we do. If there are impossible requests , contact the Interior Ministry . I have never heard of cameras in the polling stations, "he said.
