Patients with COVID-19 strain, isolated at home

Neither of the two people confirmed with the UK strain of COVID-19 traveled abroad.

The patients are isolated at home, under the supervision of a family doctor, and their general condition is good.

Currently, tests are being processed in the laboratory of the "Matei Bals" Institute in Bucharest and the results are awaited.

The Ministry of Health recommends the request of a COVID-19 test at the first sign of symptoms.

So far, in Romania, only one more case of infection with the strain from Great Britain has been confirmed, in a young woman from Giurgiu, who has not traveled abroad.
