"Over 900" new covid infections in the last 24 hours

1763 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19, a number that has not been reached in Romania since the beginning of June. 238 of them are in Intensive Care Units and nearly 5.500 people confirmed as infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home.
According to the balance announced at noon by the authorities, the number of daily cases of coronavirus infection has exceeded today, for the second time in two days, the threshold of 900. More precisely, there were 946 new COVID-19 infections confirmed after almost 40.000 tests performed.
