One day until the European League final

The day before the sporting event of the year in Romania, European League final at football, authorities give assurances that the organization is perfected.

The key word is safety.

In fact, specialized continental forum UEFA requires very clear criteria to organizers, which Bucharest has already applied, especially that supporters of both Spanish teams who will dispute the final began to arrive in Bucharest.

The city is practically divided so that fans of both teams do not meet.

They are taken separately from the airport in special buses either made available by the mayor, or by travel agencies.

The access to the stadium and the route to arena are themselves divided, and areas designed for those who do not have tickets yet but still come to Romania, so-called fan-zone are at different points.

One will be in the Constitution Square for fans of Athletic Bilbao and another fan zone will be in the George Enescu market for Atletico Madrid.

There, the match will be seen on giant screens.

47 airline flights or charter confirmed

At the moment we speak of 47 airline flights or charter confirmed, says the Otopeni airport spokesman, Valentin Iordache.

The staff was doubled or even tripled, and at the airport have been posted even more border policemen, gendarmes or customs officials.

"Starting today at noon the first charter flights come with supporters.

"Today we expect nine flights, others following to come tomorrow morning and up to 6:30 o'clock to 7:00 o'clock.

"Flows are totally separate, so one team will come on a stream which is now the usual flow of international arrivals, supporters of other team will come on the stream which is now used for domestic flights ,but supporters of both Spanish teams will meet each other only when they enter the stadium.

"There will be no delay in takeoff or landing, or if they are going to be, it will be some reasonable intervals," said Valentin Iordache.

5,000 police and gendarmes

These days a total of 5,000 policemen and gendarmes are mobilized on the streets.

Supporters will be monitored through 90 cameras mounted on the route especially at intersections.

At the same time the road traffic will be closed tomorrow until Thursday on the roadways around the stadium and where appropriate, restricted around areas for fans.

Stopping or parking around the stadium are banned from this evening at 20:00.

Last but not least, the final is an opportunity for hoteliers and merchants.

The first say that it is hardly to find a free room these days and that on average prices have doubled or even tripled.

With all efforts of the authorities is very likely supporters still to meet after the game in the old center where are concentrated bars, clubs and terraces.

However, supporters were given advice and details since the time the teams have qualified for the final from official club sites.
