Non-granting of the maintenance pension established by notarial deed, "incriminated and punished with imprisonment"

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Failure to grant the maintenance pension established by notarial deed will be criminalized and sanctioned with imprisonment from 6 months to 3 years or with a fine.
The legislative amendments were adopted by the Chamber of Deputies today, as a decision-making body.
Liberal Florin Roman emphasized that this amendment to the Criminal Code corresponds to the decisions of the Constitutional Court.
Florin Roman: Basically, we are introducing the criminalization of non-payment in bad faith, for three months, of the maintenance pension established by notarial deed. We had this provision only in the case of court decisions. Now, we practically agree with the Court's decision and apply a non-discriminatory treatment to the notarial act as well.
