New sanitary restrictions in Timisoara

The coronavirus infection rate has exceeded seven per thousand inhabitants in Timisoara.
The County Committee for Emergency Situations decided to impose traffic restrictions on weekends for unvaccinated people as well as reducing the program of shops until 6 pm, closing the bars and restaurants and banning parties, concerts and sports competitions.
Among the localities targeted by these restrictions are the communes of Giroc, Otelec, Parta and Sag. Five other areas, including the peri-urban communes Dumbravita, Ghiroda and Mosnita Noua near Timisoara, enter, on Tuesday, September 28, under night traffic restrictions during the week also, having an incidence of over 7.5.
At the level of Timis County, the infection rate reached 5.32. Eight active outbreaks of infection are maintained, the last ones being registered at a kindergarten and at the County Hospital.
