Social Democratic Party’s (PSD) National Executive Committee has adopted the new formula of the Romanian Government.

Eight Romanian Ministries will change their leaders, and some of the new suggested ministers have already been part of other governments. Social Democratic Party’s (PSD) National Executive Committee has adopted, on Monday, the new formula of the Romanian Government, as suggested by Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă.
RRA Reporter Cătălin Purcaru: "Olguţa Vasilescu leaves Ministry of Labor and comes to Transports, having been replaced by President of the Commission for Budget, Finance and Banks of the Chamber of Deputies, Marius Budăi. Gabriel Leş returns to the Defense Ministry, Ilan Laufer comes to the Ministry of Regional Development, Nicolae Bădălău will run the Ministry of Economy. Alexandru Petrescu will take over the leadership of the Ministry of Communications, Daniel Breaz goes to Culture, and Bogdan Matei at the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Members of PSD National Executive Committee also decided to nominate former defense minister Mihai Fifor as the President of the Party’s National Council, while Codrin Ştefănescu is the new interim secretary general of the PSD. Gabriela Firea has been removed from the leadership of the PSD - Ilfov. Soon after hearing the news, Firea – General Mayor of Bucharest – announced her resignation from the position of interim president of PSD – Bucharest branch, in protest at the fact that for two years there have not been held internal elections for the leadership of this organization".
