"UDMR loses the Education Law and threatens to leave the Government", titles Gândul.

The Court judges have confirmed, through voting, the existence of a judicial conflict regarding the Government’s intercession to shoulder the responsibility concerning the Education Law, being that the aforementioned had been adopted by the Chamber of Deputies and was being debated in the Senate.

"The Constitutional Court cancels barter between Boc and UDMR", titles Jurnalul National.

The Court’s vote has generated a scandal in the coalition, the UDMR leaders accusing PDL members of treason, because a judge designated by PDL, as well as the one designated by the President, have voted against the assumption.

In return, Adevarul writes, quoting sources from PDL, that Emil Boc had intended to resign after hearing The Constitutional Court’s decision.

President Traian Basescu arrived, last night, at Victoria Palace, where he conferred with the prime-minister for half an hour on the matter.

UDMR Senator, Gyorgy Frunda, told Adevarul that the Court’s decision is a political one, which may affect the relationship between UDMR and PDL, at a Governmental level.

"I have made a fundamental error in voting three PDL candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court", added Frunda.

"Basescu’s man at the Romanian Constitutional Court tears up the coalition", titles Evenimentul Zilei. "A first reaction: the Union’s leaders declare themselves rather reserved when it comes to sustaining future assumptions regarding the salary law and that of pensions.

Marko Bela’s Union’s pressure is all the more relevant at this moment taking into account that the enactment of the salary and pension laws is dependent on the deliverance of the next money tranche from IMF", claims the newspaper.

Romania Libera writes about "The useless expropriations, paid with tens of millions of lei".

Hundreds of Romanians have been expropriated for no good reason, because the highways for which the land was needed were never built.

Although they aren’t used, the owners cannot regain their properties because the Government cannot find the necessary time to form the restitution documents.

The Nation Road and Highway Company has a portfolio of at least seventy hectare of land for which they have no use.

Jurnalul National reveals "The mystery of the business ‘Ski in Romania’, quote: "The building of the ski slopes, the acquisition of tele-gondolas and fake snow machines represents one of the most prosperous businesses in which the Romanian Government, through the Ministry of Tourism and Regional Development is investing about one billion lei, for starters.

Most of this money is headed towards those close to PDL, who have won design and construction work auctions. In the meanwhile, the total value of some of the projects has changed by the day", claims the newspaper.

"Dishonored elite state program", titles Adevarul on the first page, and presents the sequel of the scandalous stories of three of the Romanians who arrived in the country through the return of the young scientists’ program, launched three years ago.

After having brought them back from abroad, the government abandoned the program because of the financial crisis, and the disappointed young scientists are preparing to leave again.
