In Romania, the number of abandoned children is 67, but the thousands that can be adopted is less than 1400. The bureaucracy is still too high.

"Discrimination in adoption," says EVENIMENTUL ZILEI. Romanians who want to adopt children complain that the changes made to the law on adoptions in April would be difficult.
