More than 5.200 fines for non-compliance with health safety measures

Over 5.200 fines totaling 837 thousand ron were applied in 24 hours by police and gendarmes for non-compliance with health safety measures.
There were also 11 crimes for impeding the fight against diseases, a deed provided and punished by the Criminal Code.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminds citizens that they can report violations of the rules to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus on the toll-free line 0 800 800 165.
Calls will be sent to the verification structures.
Authorities are constantly calling to the population for compliance with health safety measures, especially as the number of new cases registered daily continues to rise. Yesterday there were 3.400 out of almost 30.000 tests performed.
