German company MHS Truck & Bus has signed a joint venture partnership with Romanian truck and bus manufacturer Roman SA in Brașov.

German company MHS Truck & Bus has signed a joint venture partnership with Romanian truck and bus manufacturer Roman SA in Brașov, to produce multipurpose vehicle platforms for the Romanian Army, the two companies announced on Tuesday.
MHS Truck & Bus, sole importer and service partner of Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles in Romania, announced that besides Roman SA, it will co-operate with several local suppliers.
This Partnership in the production of military trucks and other equipment for the needs of the Romanian Army will contribute to the recovery of production of military and civilian transport platforms in Romania.
The joint venture is expected to create over 1,000 jobs in Romania and improve the skills of the personnel involved in the Army’s endowment program.
