Radio Cluj organized between July 19 and 21 the first edition of the Media Camp for students from Cluj county who produce school magazines or are passionate about media.

In partnership with the Cluj County School Inspectorate and the Media Education Association, 45 students from the 6th to the 11th grade had the opportunity to talk to public radio people about their daily work. News editors, show producers and presenters and even the editors-in-chief of the two main programs talked to the students about the job of radio journalist and the prospects of the profession.

In addition, the students also participated in a contest to create editorial materials with cash prizes (over 2.000 lei in total), books and music discs. They were divided into 5 teams coordinated by 5 radio editors and presenters. Yesterday, on the last day, the materials made by them were judged and awarded.

1st place was obtained by the team coordinated by Rodica Tulbure, who made a report about Generation Z; 2nd place was won by the team coordinated by Doina Borgovan, the students' mission being to create a sound illustration, and the 3rd place went to the team coordinated by Racz Eva.

There were also 2 mentions: the first mention was awarded to the team coordinated by Anca Bota, where the children had to perform a piece of radio theater. The second mention was awarded to the team coordinated by Alina Vigoniuc.
