Measures included in the Support for Romania program

More than half of Romanians will benefit from the measures of the program entitled "Support for Romania", the Minister of Labor, Marius Budai, announced at a press conference.
The document will be officially presented on Monday by the coalition leaders, and the value of the support package will exceed 17 billion lei, according to Marius Budai.
Marius Budai: Unfortunately, what in the past we bought for 200 lei, we now buy for about 300-350 lei. That is why we take a large part of these measures to the coalition in order to support the most vulnerable, which are about 12 million.
The measures targeted by the coalition include an increase in the minimum wage by 200 lei, the granting of vouchers worth 50 euros every two months for low-income people, aid for carriers to settle excise duty on diesel and increase meal vouchers for employees.
