May 1 offers for tourists

Almost 2.000 tourists chose to spend Easter at sea. They had a choice between the offers of the approximately 40 hotels, pensions and villas opened now, one week before the official start of the new summer season.

Next weekend - May 1 - tourism operators are expecting 30.000 customers. They are hoping for good weather, says Aurora Spataru, the manager of a three-star hotel in Mamaia resort.

Aurora Spataru: We are preparing for the opening of the hotel on April 28; we have reservations. The weather seems to be warmer, it will be much nicer than it has been so far and we expect tourists to come to the sea, at least on weekends. We have some offers already created especially for this period and from May 1 the prices will start at 200 lei one room per night, 240 lei with breakfast included.
