Marcel Bolos: The energy card ordinance will soon be amended by the Government

The energy card ordinance, through which Romanians with low incomes receive state aid for paying outstanding bills, will soon be amended by the Government, also by ordinance.
It would probably happen at next week's executive meeting, the Minister of European Funds, Marcel Bolos, announced at RRA.
He explained that among the changes is the extension of the settlement period for outstanding invoices up to February of last year. Currently only those up to October 2022 are accepted.
Another change concerns state aid for wood heating.
So far, the state has granted energy aid of approximately 100 million lei, Minister Marcel Bolos also said in the Morning Call at RRA.
