Less than 500 new cases of COVID-19 in Romania

The number of new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, May 21, was below 500 nationwide, statistic reported after a fairly large number of tests performed in 24 hours.
Less than 1.5% of the tests had a positive result. The number of coronavirus patients in hospitals has dropped below 4.000, of which 636 are in Intensive Care Units.
49 COVID-associated deaths were reported from Thursday to Friday.
