L. Orban: The government is determined to revive the defense industry

The government is determined to revive the defense industry and to secure orders from the Romanian Army for production capabilities in the domestic industry, says Prime Minister Ludovic Orban.
The chief executive visited today the Mechanical Plant from Cugir, accompanied by the deputy prime minister Raluca Turcan, the minister of defense, Nicolae Ciucă, the minister of economy, Virgil Popescu, and by the minister of transports, Lucian Bode.
Government representatives also checked the stage of infrastructure investments on the Sebeș-Turda highway, which is currently being built.
During the morning, they also visited the construction site of lot 1 of the Sibiu - Pitești highway.
