President Klaus Iohannis won a second term at the Cotroceni Palace, say exit polls announced at the closing of the polling stations by the institutes accredited by the Central Electoral Bureau.

Romanian Institute for Evaluation and Strategy (IRES) in Cluj-Napoca states that results in the second round of the presidential elections on November 24, 2019 are as follows:

Klaus Iohannis 66.50%

Viorica Dăncilă 33.50

Data includes votes from the diaspora and represents the options registered until 20.00, according to Agerpres.

PNL candidate, Klaus Iohannis, obtained 64.8% in the second round of the presidential elections on Sunday, and the PSD representative, Viorica Dăncilă, 35.2%, according to Center of Urban and Regional Sociology (CURS) and Group of Vanguard Socio-Behavioral Studies.

Data are valid for 19.30 hours and only for polling stations on the Romanian territory, without taking into account polling stations from abroad.

According to a simulation carried out by the two institutes, in a result that would include the diaspora, Iohannis would get 67%, and Dăncilă - 33%.
