Klaus Iohannis: Romania's support for Ukraine will continue

Romania's support for Ukraine will continue - declared President Klaus Iohannis, at a joint press conference with his counterparts from Lithuania, Latvia and Poland. They participated, in Kaunas, in a summit dedicated to strengthening NATO's Eastern Flank.
Klaus Iohannis emphasized that Romania is ready to participate in the international effort for the reconstruction of Ukraine:
Klaus Iohannis: Russia's brutal, illegal and unjustified war against Ukraine has presented us all with multiple challenges. Our countries have been reliable supporters of Ukraine, and so was the entire Euro-Atlantic community. One thing is certain: we must maintain Western unity and strategic engagement in the face of Russia's renewed efforts to divide us, including through attempted escalation, food shortages, energy blackmail and disinformation. We discussed how we can continue our political, economic, technical and humanitarian assistance.
The four presidents adopted a joint declaration on regional security and European integration.
