Romania looks forward to the new year with hope and confidence, after the challenges of historical proportions that the country had to face highlighted the strength of character and the ability of Romanians to remain in solidarity, says President Klaus Iohannis in his New Year's message.
Klaus Iohannis: Even though it was a very difficult year for all of us, marked by deep crises and a terrible war going on at our borders, we look with hope and confidence to the new year 2023, which is about to begin.
Romania must learn to turn every crisis into an opportunity to become a better and stronger nation, the president said.
Klaus Iohannis: I urge you to work together so that our country can enjoy a prosperous future, in peace and harmony. I wish you a happy new year!
