International Festival of radio orchestras in Bucharest

At the first edition of the Festival and have already announced their participation in some of the most important radio orchestras in Europe: Radio France, BBC, RAI Torino and Radio Romania orchestras.

Radio Romania and Artexim organizes over 23 to 29 September 2012, the first International Festival of Radio Orchestras.

It was already announced their participation in, some of the most important orchestras in Europe Radio: Radio France, BBC, RAI Torino and Radio Romania orchestras.

12 concerts in the Hall "Mihail Jora" Romanian Radio Broadcasting or at the Palace Hall, great soloists and conductors, major symphony orchestras in what will become since this autumn the Festival of Radio Orchestras, in a Radio Romania and Artexim original concept, that meets the need for quality music, in autumn in Bucharest, as stated in a press conference István András Demeter, president and general manager of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting.

"Starting a festival that proposes a series of meetings between the major orchestras and Bucharest public radio, why not public across the country or through Radio Romania, the music lovers around the world”, said Andras Istvan Demeter.

As conductor, pianist and leader of bands was chosen to be the artistic director of the festival the renowned musician Christian Zacharias.

"I would particularly like to contribute with ideas and also with music and why not spiritual.

It makes sense for me to bring me rather a contribution to music and being active as a musician, "said Christian Zacharias.
