In Romania "there is no crisis of anti-inflammatory and anti-thermic drugs"

Producer: In Romania there is no crisis of anti-inflammatory and anti-thermic drugs, because we have our own factories that produce the basic substance of such products, stated the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila. He had a meeting with representatives of the pharmaceutical industry and the College of Pharmacists from Romania.

Alexandru Rafila: In Romania there is no crisis of either ibuprofen or paracetamol, unlike other countries in Europe which currently have discontinuities in the supply of paracetamol. In Romania we do not have this problem thanks to the drug factories that produce these substances in our country both versions for adults, and versions for pediatric use. We did not talk about the price of medicines. We started discussing this issue recently, and it's common sense, because production costs have increased with the increase in the price of utilities and raw materials. There are several things that we will propose in the next period. The adaptation to the inflation rate, which was applied to other categories of goods and services - it must also benefit the producers of generic medicines in Romania.

Producer: The Minister also explained that in some countries there is a crisis of medicines for villous and flu due to the exponential increase in the number of illnesses and the significant delays in the delivery of raw materials from China.
