Hundreds of people evacuated from flood-affected areas
Rescue and preventive evacuation operations of over 500 people in flood-hit areas.

Employees of the Romanian Interior Ministry have intervened to save and protect over 500 people affected by flood-hit areas, an official statement said.
There are 72 localities affected, in 16 counties (Alba, Bacău, Botoșani, Braşov, Brăila, Buzău, Covasna, Hunedoara, Harghita, Iaşi, Neamţ, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman and Vrancea).
About 20,000 firefighters, policemen and gendarmes are at the places concerned.
According to press correspondents of Radio Romania News (RRA), more than 200 people have been taken out from the flooded zones. They were accommodated in relatives houses or in places provided by local authorities.
Minister of Waters and Forestry, Ioan Deneş, has visited the affected areas.
