Heavy traffic at Romania's borders

Traffic at Romania's borders continues to be intense during this period.
More than 90.000 people, Romanian and foreign citizens, have passed through checkpoints throughout the country in the last 24 hours.
There were approximately 48.000 people on the way in, with 15.500 means of transport.
The border with Hungary remains the busiest, with over 30.000 people, more than half of whom have entered the country.
The Border Police states that they are working at the maximum capacity allowed by the crossing point infrastructure.
Currently, traffic runs smoothly, with no waiting times.
The institution recommends the use of all points open to international traffic, in order to avoid congestion.
